Description A sketch from a while back. Most of the armor I do follows a heavily western aesthetic, so I figured I'd switch it up on this one. Essentially it's just a modern eastern-style mbt. Some key features include a 125mm smoothbore cannon with fume extractor, thermal imaging and laser rangefinder system, IR/white light searchlight, 40mm smoke dischargers, and a ring mounted 7.62mm machine gun.

Protection systems include spaced armor panels along the frontal 180 degree arc of the turret and ERA bricks on the upper and lower glacis plates. Because I couldn't bring myself to totally abandon my western traditions, this vehicle does not feature the rung-magazine style autoloader that is so common on many Russian designed tanks. Instead, I opted for a bustle-mounted magazine with blowout panels. As such, I was  looking at a crew of four with the addition of a human loader (sure beats having your turret do a back flip).
