Description **edit**
Got rid of the lens-flare.
**end edit**

Inspired by the cover of Red Shift, a sci-fi/spec-fi book by Al Sarrantonio [probably spelled that wrong]. This is the 'small' version as the original is about 3x the size.

really great,
awesome colors and it's sweet how the planet is out of the frame, quite original

one of the better starscapes i've seen out there.

Ah, wonderful, absolutely digging the nebulae detail man! I am always upto seeing an example of great nebulae, & this hands all one could wish for in one lovely presented image. The varying colours are depthed, the border shows some ingenuity, overall a mighty fine piece indeed!

Eh ill start with the starfield. Excellent variation, great use of both small & larger star formations, it really glows & gives the piece so much detail, i love the varied shapes & forms of all the stars, there are many kinds, Excellently done. The nebulae, like i said its a great example of a very good nebulae, reminds me of `hameed 's nebulae work alot, jammed with detail, light, darkness, colour, &.. Detail. Not really much more to say about it really, that is all to be said of a great work.

I love the small planet in the piece, it seems very soft & adds well. The larger planet works well with the border & has a nice atmosphere that lights with the nebulae which is good. However here is my only suggestion on this great piece: The larger planets texture is good, but it feels like it needs more varied aspects rather than one or two different textures, as that is how it feels. I want to see land formations, or if its moonlike then craters. The atmosphere crescent indicates that it has an atmosphere however, so i would expect to see land formations or something with life or hinting of what was once life. But man thats the only thing to suggest, i hope that helped, didnt mean to offend you in any way because this is an excellent piece of work really.

Keep up the excellent work.. I hope you make another scifi piece again sometime, i loved the results of this one.

I like how colorful it is and how planet is bit out of frame. That planet may have bit dull texture, but it doesn't ruin awesome pic.

I like the planet's intrusion of the frame, and the it being white is usually something I don't agree with, but I do with this piece completely.
It's very inspiring (: Look at that detail.. The stars are perfectly placed, and though I'm sure you've heard this plenty of times, you really did do a wonderful job on the colors.

I only have two things to say about this... Far OUT!

I really like the fact that the planet is sitting outside of the space on the white, it really generates alot of intrests and draws the eye there
I really like the design you have around the side too, it really adds to the picture. The colours are really nice

OMG Thats amazing. Stuning work for the background. Just stuning really. Also i really like that planet .

The only thing i will say is to take the top planet out, it doesnt work very well there.

Other than that superve work.

Very nice work I very like the use of a framing where the biggest planet is out Personnaly i just regret the use of a lens flare, the halo is not very pretty and lens reflections are not not welcome on the nebulae i think.

The space and nebula are really amazing! I mean that... it really kicks ass. What takes away from it is the lens flare and planets. If this were submitted w/o the planets or lens flare I'd fave it a million times

I like the atmosphere , nice starfield+light composition
but I think the lens flair could be 200mm or something or colorised.
anyway gj

Thank you.

I sat and stared at the lens flair for an hour wondering whether to keep it or get rid of it altogether. I don`t really like it, but it looks ... plain? without it. I will experiment with some different ones. Thanks for the suggestion.

you could colorize the lens using layer mask , and experiment a bit with the color , so that will fit with the whole starfield
