this is another of those I can't explain. I get a little philosophical when I find my birthday coming around which it is. And I find myself thinking about the things I do and don't do any more. And I wonder why a great deal...like do I remember why I let Star Trek TOS become my favorite fandom? The basic reasoning why I was originally drawn to it and if it's still the same reason now as it was then. I can't help but think that there are many others who find themselves think that way at times too.Background something I made myself with some playing around with PS. And the rest is trekbat fonts and Federation classic font.

umm,....um....i thought the new moive was good...I love the series.i started watching it because their was no predudice in it.everyone was equal.their was a futher in it.while in your life your not to sure of it.it offured hope to a tomorow to me sometimes seemed to never come.I think the movie still has this maybe not as obvious.sorry you didnt like the moive.i love your stamps.

No and I actually made and posted that wallpaper awhile back last year inregards to something totally different as with the death of a fandom. I know most think I'm referring to the movie, but considering how long ago I made them then posted them I can't say they do fall into that category. It goes back to something else with me and some other star trek fans that I used to hang out with before the internet from several years ago.
the one wallpaper in reference to it's a crime was made after someone here asked me to make it for them and an icon as well.
And I really hadn't had plans on seeing it so I guess that's me, I know others here aren't going to see it either.
But like I said I know most think it does have something to do with the movie but they note the date it's posted or anything I actually said in the comments. If they do think that then fine but no it doesn't.

I remember why...but I think many others have forgotten.
Others have forgotten not just why they liked it, but why it became the phenomenon that it is. They haven't stopped to consider WHY this show impacted so many people, choosing instead to judge it by looking at it through cynical, stereotype-clouded glasses. They think it needs to be "updated," or "changed," because they don't think it was "good enough" the way it was - a viewpoint I've always found insulting.
