I meant that you do not have to bother what is said about what you do. Because you are talented.
I know what I am talking about, I worked in Communications, organizing stands in international exhibitions and had to choose photographs.Have a friend who owns a photographers agency, onother who is a well known fashion photographer ...
You are talented, go on working !

It depends of what photography is for you. Either you like it just to record moments and places in order never to forget them. or if you like to shoot subjetcs, like the streetlights. I do like streetlights because they are so differents, I've done quite a few I shall post someday.
I think that you do not need to learn extensively because what you do is already good, in terms of quality (technical) and in terms of art,you have a real talent.
If you feel like curious then go go go !
I started to photograph as a teen ager and never stopped. For a (too) little time I had a lab and could develop black and whiteprints, before the numeric. I learned some technic with my father; the cameras were already automatic when I started.
I feel I have a very poor technique with the numeric and i am starting to work on photofiltre, which is a rather simple program of retouch... will have to learn how to use photoshop, far better... Yami-PimeΓ€ (on DA) has it and she does GREAT things with it, go to visit her. i don't remember the second name of her adress...She drows and takes pictures, tell me what you think.
Bye bye

She has very interesting drawings!
Since I can't draw, it looks double lovely. And she had curious characters.
Haha, thanks. But I'm thinking of maybe becoming good enough to pursue a career connected to photography. A photo reporter, for instance.
I find the digital camera being quite convenient if you don't want to spend plenty of money of scanning the picture into digital format after having taken them on film. But its personal for everyone.

I agree, I turned to digital with a great pleasure and really enjoy to work with the computer. But I am not very good at it, am starting only. I have to improve myself. As I am writing,I don't have much time for the rest. have some researches to do and I frequently travel from Paris to south of France...

you should consider living your dreams... at least start trying to accomplish them and if it does not succed, get to do something else. Otherwise you would live for quite a long time with the regret of doing sthg you do not really appreciate instead of ... see ?

Its always better to a population of half a million of pleasant people, rather than 17 million of hell knows who

heheh, of course, but:
1.There's always something interestin to see on bigger cities.
2. In this specific case, that's half a million people as unpleasant as it can be, shamefuly.
Well, at least most of them. Not that I'm too social anyway ^^''
