Y'know, I always thought it would be cool to see Dib join the Irkens.
But just for a little while.
He would soon become angry because if the other humans shunning him, and he would join the Irkens. But he would eventually see that it is wrong, and go back to trying to destroy ZIM.

Despite Dib being the second most sane character, he is still pretty crazy. So he could very well... um.... defect? Is that the word?
I wish Jhonen would do an episode about Dib joining the Irkens... of course, only for a little while.
