I'm going do do flower-imitating mantises (not sure of the right term) of wax and perhaps pieces of fabrics in the future, and I thought of this. Great minds think alike, I guess, although I don't consider myself ''great''. Love those insects.Faved a while ago.

That'll be pretty sweet Especially if you make them larger then life styled. I'm sure you can put in some wicked details.

Either larger than life-size, or small enough to pose in large flowers (if possible). The first one to pop into my mind is a papaver mantis (or was it opium mantis? ). Too bad I'm terrible in botany, but should you have any suggestion for plants that would be a good fit, I'd love to try it out.But really, here's an area I feel I can use at least a little more creativity than usual, and make up my own species rather than follow the rules. Insects are wonderful like that. And fish, with their colours and shapes.
