Max most defiantly has an obsession with Supermonkey, owning a lot of merch plus all the comics and forces Cassie to indulge in it with him (and has a huge crush on Supermonkey as well).
Also a weird thing with the BATTD Supermonkey (I've nicknamed him Avery or Theodore) is his lack of protection when getting the laser eyes and plasma blast upgrades. I know none of the characters have physical upgrade changes but this makes me think about all the Supermonkies, why is he smaller than the BTD6 Supers? What if he's some sort of 'runt' that doesn't have as strong of power? If so is that why he's so popular with all the fans specifically giving him the sun avatar upgrade while in BTD6 the Fanclub is just an unrelated tower while BATTD super has direct power from them. What if he's used as the public Supermonkey figure because its harder for him to hurt the public? A smaller figure with less potent eye beams yet still having all the powers is what the super name needs. But we're gonna ignore Geraldo's Supermonkey cape. To many thoughts to put down at once.
