"Dutch like mires"

The last monitoring of a the second rarest peat moss Sphagnum lindbergii in Germany is done. Three years I visited the two sites four times a year and I am happy that I do not have to spend my poor freetime at my old home driving around. The last station was the Schlötsmoor which gave a short glance of how mires look when the sun is shining nowadays. As usual my dog came with me and she loves wet mires. Still she also enjoyed the sun clearly when it broke through the clouds. Maybe I will come back next year not for work but to take photos of these beautiful and special environments.
