Simply stunning shot. At first glace it is symmetrical, the two open windows and the parallel lines in the radiators but then you see the asymmetric details between the two halves. I think the green foliage on the left is somehow balanced by the frosted white of the windows on the right.
The muted tones give the whole thing a very surreal beauty. The decay and miscellaneous bits of nitty gritty add to the grunge factor, yet it's not cluttered.
I also like that the doors within the doorway are perfectly framed, even though one is further back. I enjoy a good fading perspective, but in this case the closed doors work for the whole image.

Wow, absolutely stunning. I agree with Macky-San, completely thought that it was a watercolor painting or drawing at first. So of course it made the image seem like it was highly well painted. It made it seem so unrealistic at first glance, especially with the contrast and color.
Not only that, but the abandoned look to it draws me in a whole lot more. With pieces of the dry wall / paint peeling off of the wall and vines growing in it and taking over the vacant building. The green vines contrast the abandoned building quite well and really makes it seem calming.

It look so much like the house in the The Secret of Moonacre -movie. O_O
I don't know why.. There isn't that much similarties but it was first thing what came to my mind and is stuck there. When the main character walks in the hallway and finds the kitchen maybe.. Dunno.
Anyway.. It wake up my imagination. I like it! ^____^
