This was acutally the first time I decided to paint a realistic portrait. To be honest I didn't paint realistic animal portraits before but I think it turned out to be actually good
In order to set the focus on the dog I decided to paint a rather simple watercolor background with an autumn theme 
Time: approx. 4 h
Medium: watercolor and white acrylics for the highlights
