I was hanging out at my place, relaxing having decided to watch the BMA League match on TV instead of attending to the event in person.

I'd rented out my box seat for the evening, it helped keep some of the sponsors happy, anyway I had been finishing off a meeting with the BMA Organisations new HR manager

Lisa Carroll , she had a wealth of experience and as our company grew it was useful to take that onboard, and whilst she was firm in her opinions she seemed to be a good character too

As we finished up I got some of my chips out, as I had a couple of friends coming over to play, we never played for much money as it was usually for the banter of the win until the next game night

However, when I got a text from one of my friends saying they couldn't make it, work was causing trouble, Lisa volunteered to step in saying she hadn't played in years, but was well up for it considering the small amounts.

And so our poker session was saved, HR to the rescue! I wonder how often that's said?
