This is an Awesome Design!!! I really hope you create a full set of orthographic views of the USS Excelsior.
Seeing that the scans the Kelvin took off the Narada's 24th-century technology, went with the survivors on the shuttles, were used by 23rd century Starfleet to reverse engineer the more "advanced" technology seen in the alternate reality and these readings from the Narada "inspired ideas and technology that wouldn't have advanced otherwise. Plus, the Narada's advanced weaponry and appearance are explained as being the result of the ship being retrofitted with salvaged and reverse-engineered Borg technology.
This would be an interesting battle between a Kelvin Timeline version of the Excelsior going up against a Borg Cube; that would not be so one sided in the Borg Cube favour. Seeing how the USS Vengence was designed by Section 31 with the help of Khan Noonien Singh and Starfleet used the remains of the wrecked USS Vengeance constructing the Ascendant, and the next ship the USS Excelsior was built entirely from scratch with improvements.

I really like this new design. Very sharp angles, complemented with a boat load of weaponry. Looking forward to seeing more of this version of the Excelsior!
