(Not to be confused with the USS Shenzhou)the u.s.s. Shinzou, meaning "a new thing" in Japanese (according to google translate anyway) is a ship design I've come accoss a couple of times and liked so much, I decided to design my on version.
I like the jj-verse kelvin-era ship look so decided to use combine it with TOS parts to give it more of a cannon look. I haven't decided on what her role is in the fleet. all I do know is that I think it looks really cool.

Looks like a Kelvinverse Luna-class flipped upside down. Not a bad thing.
I think I'd class her as a long-range recon vessel, something i would expect to see flying ahead of Connies to tell 'em "Hey this looks cool! You should check it out."

Yeah, I'm liking that idea. I knew she was a science ship, but that sounds like the perfect role for her 😀😀😀😀 charting stellar nurseries and spacial anomollies, etc.
