This is actually a series being planned by my friend
It's basically a magical girl series that has various 'mythical beasts' from many legends as a theme and motif.
I have offered to illustrate concept for his series since he's busy with various concepts.
Now, this is basically to see if any of this fit his vision of not, and would most likely be improved upon when he comes round to illustrating them and maybe posting them in his own account, but you guys are welcome to comment on them too!

For 'Mermaid', I had her drawn to look like an introverted girl with glasses. So, you can imagine, she is the 'brainy' girl of the group. I would imagine her to at first not exactly brave until she eventually does as the series progresses.
I would suggest a name like 'Sophie' would suit her well.

Mermaid was hard to pull off helmet wise, so I had 'fish eyes' to go with the mermaid fins.
