The Robert the Bruce Festival is held once a year in Pittencrief Park in Dunfermline or the Glen we locals like to call it. The event has been running for three years and reflects the national and international significance of this great historical figure in Scotlands ancient capital of Dunfermline. Taking place in the shadow of Dunfermline Palace and Abbey his final resting place, with his heart resting in Melrose Abbey.

The Scottish Knight Sir Toby was one of the jousters in the tournament that ran twice during the day, they are the only full contact team that people are ever likely to see. No part of the body was off limits with the head being allowed to be targetted. Sir Toby ran out the eventual winner.
