Description
The third fury variant, Day Fury! They reside mainly in the Southern Hemisphere (mainly in Africa, Southern Asia, & Australia). True to their name they're active during the day. They're opposite to their Night Fury cousins being more bird like with their feathers and colors. Same size as Night Furies.

They use their plumage to puff up to appear bigger and more intimidating -> sta.sh/03gewjuthvu Resembles an owl in that regard, reference to their more nocturnal bat-like cousin. Unlike NFs however, DF do live alongside humans. They can't hide in the dark, trees, sea, and clouds. If puffing up doesn't work, they can use a rather neat trick of theirs. The colors vary depending the strength of the Day Fury. The tribes some Day Furies live with use their feathers for torches, the flame lasts for quite some time though it does eventually fade out. When not ablaze, the species give their feathers as gifts to impress a mate. The tribes some DF live among in do this as well!

Their plasma blast is the second strongest after the Night Fury. A very proud species. Males and females are same size sporting the same colors usually. They have venom in their claws and fangs to help take down prey. Day Furies that live in or around the land down under tend to be more poisonous.
