Description
The Solar-class pinnace is the backbone of the Ceti Imperium's scouting force and is also favored by civilian mapmakers as well. Used for both planetary exploration, with secondary roles in fleet reconnaissance and screening, and emergency operations; the Solar-class is the smallest ship in the Imperium Navy equipped with a jump engine. However, due to significant recharge times, the ship cannot jump in and out quickly, and as such, the reconnaissance role is being taken over by purpose-built vessels.
