Personality: Ash comes off as a tough, brooding person who can be difficult to approach. This comes as a result of being forced away from his trainer, something he believes is partially his own fault. Emotionally, he distances himself from others, and is always quick to harshly criticize when he deems it necessary. Ash does not tip-toe around topics, he is always very straightforward with his thoughts and intents, for better or worse. Though he appears indifferent to the misfortunes of others, he is very protective in times of need, and will not back down from a fight if challenged.

Bio: In the Kanto region, Ash was created by Team Rocket scientists in an experiment, using the DNA of both a Pikachu and Mew to test the versatility of the latter's DNA. Indeed, a Pichu was born, along side many other Pokemon cloned in the test. After the initial experiments and examinations were completed, the Pichu was left in surprisingly good health, and so was partnered with a grunt. The grunt named the Pichu "Ash" and the two got along incredibly well from there. Their friendship allowed Ash to evolve into a Pikachu, who maintained a unique black tail tip reminiscent of the Pikachu he was cloned from.

Together they were an inseparable and unbeatable team, and over the years they accomplished several high-profile missions, earning a respected name among both Team Rocket and the International Police.
However, it would all come crashing down when Ash's trainer came across information about a top secret project he was not supposed to see. This led Team Rocket's executives to conspire against him in order to prevent the unwanted information from spreading. The details of one of their missions was leaked to the police by Team Rocket, on the grounds that when captured, Ash's trainer would be silenced permanently. On their mission, they were ambushed by swarms of Interpol agents, which escalated to the point that Ash's trainer decided to use himself as a distraction so that his partner could escape. Ash was reluctant, but eventually caved, having faith that his friend would be able to manage on his own. Ash had no idea that this would be the last time he ever saw them.

Ash himself was never made aware of this secret project that had landed them in so much hot water, likely done intentionally by his trainer in order to protect him. And so, he never once considered the fact that Team Rocket had sold them out.
The Pikachu's escape was not planned, so upon return, the executives wanted to be quick about getting rid of him. They elected to send him to the Pokemon-run branch in Sinnoh, hoping to keep him far away. Despite his constant protesting, he would not be allowed to wait for his trainer's (unlikely) return, and was sent by boat to Canalave City. He would be welcomed by a Silver-ranked Torracat named Axis, who would become his first friend in this new, unfamiliar region.

Ability: Lightning Rod - The Pokémon draws in all Electric-type moves. Instead of being hit by Electric-type moves, it boosts its Sp. Atk.

Move Set: Thunderbolt - A strong electric blast crashes down on the target. This may also leave the target with paralysis.

Iron tail - The target is slammed with a steel-hard tail. This may also lower the target's Defense stat.

Nasty Plot - The user stimulates its brain by thinking bad thoughts. This sharply raises the user's Sp. Atk stat.

Volt Tackle - The user electrifies itself and charges the target. This also damages the user quite a lot. This attack may leave the target with paralysis.
