Description Bio: In 1919 a new class of 4-6-0s designed by Vincent Raven, was just built, these class of locomotives were known as the North Eastern S3 (which were later classified as B16s when the LNER was formed). When the NWR got word of the new 4-6-0 class, they contacted the NER to construct a locomotive to be loan until 1929 (which is for 10 years from 1919 to 1929). They agreed and the locomotive was being built at Darlington Works, while constructing the locomotive, when they were painting its livery, there had been an order mix up which meant by the time the engine gained it livery something was off. All the S3s by Vincent Raven always wore NER and LNER Black, but this locomotive No.843 had been given GER Blue by mistake.

He was still sent to the NWR, where he’d help the struggling 203 with the express, and when 204 was brought on, handled mostly the goods trains to WellsWorth for its extension between 1923-1925. While on loan, between 1920-1926 he would have a rivalry with GER No.98462 who often argued with 843 on how his railway ripped of hers (the great eastern) despite 843 trying to tell her, it was just a mix up and a mistake. He would also be substitute for 203 when he was being rebuilt and by 1929 he was sent back to the newly formed LNER, where he was given his proper black livery and would handle goods trains with his brothers and sisters.

During the years of BR he wore BR Black, but when Dieselization of BR came into play, 843 was withdrawn and was scrapped.

Author notes: So the second blue engine is a another of the background instead by Dably, when I first made a take on this character, i originally had em as a female Caledonian railway experimental 2-6-2 prairie tender engine. However considering I have my take on 98462 as a girl and considering I’m having both 98462 and the second blue engine in the blue liveries. I didn’t want every blue loaned engine to be female or experimental. So I decided to retake this character and make the gender male and have him as a B16 (or as it once went by under the North Eastern Railway; the S3s). Since I don’t want to simply have him as a non Nor Easter, and I do like him as an NER (now LNER) locomotive.
