Description
This is a color study I did for these two wonderfully special characters. The woman is Mao Lien, and the man is her brother Shaolong Lien. They have a... complicated relationship. To make a long long story short, he's a violent, extremely driven warrior who was commisioned by her family to kill her. Also a complicated issue. They're cool, his bull ring and albino skin makes him look even scarier.*evil grin*

i like the colors you chose :] - - I dunno if you actually paint like this, but im assuming it's just to see what colors you like so I won't crit the painting. some of the perspective is off on his armor like his left shoulder pad and the left side of his armor really - like the bones. but it's a really sweet design. spikey bones = evil :] I like the little "rust"/"dirt" spots you added on his armor too. Her head is also a bit. . shallow? i guess you could say. Her skull should be bigger - her hair looks like it's going into her skull cavity instead of resting on the top of her head. Know what I mean?

this is as finished as it's going to get lady. This was just a quick color study. I'm going to be doing a couple other pieces that are more detailed with these guys eventually. I just wish I knew photoshop better/actually had a not ancient version of it on my compy. thanks though, the crit helps!

Oh! Thank you! I think I made Mao look a lot like Samus Aran subconsciously, because I've been playing Metroid Prime way too much lately. Glad you like it. I think this gave me a good grasp of their colors.
