*One of the earlier tasks King Sonic did while as a Guardian was find any trace of Enerjak. During his search, he found a ruined future of his home. He ran around trying to find someone or something, but nothing.*

King Sonic: What could have happened here? Eggman most have worked overtime. *sniff sniff* Is that smoke?

???: TARGET SPOTTED!

*Sonic barely dodged an attack from a robotic version of himself. The attacker looked like a version of Metal Sonic, but was mixed with a furnace?*

King Sonic: What the heck are you? Of all the Metals I've seen, I never thought I'd see one powered by coal.

Furnace: YOUR FLESH WILL FEED MY MASTER.

King Sonic: Ewww. Well, I welcome you to try it bolt brain!

*Sonic summoned his Keyblade and the two of them ran at each other about to clash*
