Well I try to go with Pokemon that represented his personality, his powers, and his appearance.
Alakazam is too represent his hypnotic powers. I would use Hypno but I thought Alakazam what's the better choice in my opinion. Plus I wanted to give him one Pokemon that can mega evolve
Weezing is to represent the mist/smoke that appears when he does is illusions.
Sigilyph I just felt like it fits him for some reason. I don't really have an exact reason as to why oh, I just felt like it fit him.
Cofagrigus is the same as Sigilyph tbh.
Araquanid is a bubble head, Mysterio's a bubble head, they go hand-in-hand. Also this was a total coincidence, but when I was doing research on Mysterio's powers, one of the things he actually does have in his possession is Spider-Man's web shooters. It was completely unintentional I gave him a spider Pokemon but a funny coincidence nevertheless.
