My first drawing for my America project in Adv. Higher Art

I decided to draw the National Bird of America, which is the Bald Eagle. I really love how eagles are so majestic .w.

So I added the bald eagle on the American flag, to show what it represents (if that makes sense )

I tried new shading/lighting techniques....and made it better than my other traditional drawings (I used tints, for example the shading has a tint of blue, yellow, orange and brown )

Well I hope you'll enjoy this

Yeah ._.; 1 wing may be slightly bigger than the other...but I love it anyway

Used: Derwent Watercolour pencils
Time: Ermm...I think it took 4 hours :I or 5.....I did it last Thursday (23rd August) and finished it today :/ (31st August)

I used my camera for this because my scanner is evil >.>
