I'm not too keen on the pose but the photo itself is nice. Good lighting and nice detailed clarity. I think if she had painted both her fingernails and toenails it would have given it it that little bit extra edge...of warmth. By the way! this is the one and only piece of work i have seen (as in viewed) by you on here... and i am not a pervert either 
Wether a nude is painted or photographed they are both still art; just different mediums of it.

I might not consider this specific piece to be art, but I do appreciate when a curvy woman is embraced as beautiful and sensuous.

...so the one that gets the most attention, of all of your pictures, aside from your daily deviation..is *this* picture. A lads/gents mag vet in one of the most redone poses and facial expressions in those publications and elsewhere.
While the photo is well done and the model is beautiful and all...it has me shaking my head. I can think of plenty of photos in your gallery, of more than just one model, that should be more popular than this, in a better world.

You should try that! You and she may enjoy yourself you may get some cool lighting she may strike a pose she finds interesting and you might just create something you think is beautiful.
It may not be art to many but to the two of you and many others it is. And to my earlier point all of you would be correct.

I have no issue with comments positive or negative. It is what you get if you post your work on a public forum.
I have noticed though that most people who post negative comment get extremely touchy when someone posts somthing negative about them. I can only imagine how they would feel if they actually posted work and got to hear what people had to say.

On another note...hmm...I don't really know how to word this...
While I don't really like bland-ish nudes (just how I feel, no offense intended) getting lots of attention, I can't help but feel that a large proportion of the people who favorite them are perverts who are in it more for the arousal than they are for the artsy aspect. Do you agree/how do feel about that? I know there's a large audience of people who like nude photos for the art, but I feel like it's a rare, almost niche group.

You see a blandish nude I see a beautiful woman simply lit to show off her form. As I have said If you do not think it is art then for you it is not. That is your right.
But you do not have the right to decide what is art for others. Any more than I would tell you that anime, my little pony, or pictures of kittens are not art. To some they are art of the highest order. The beauty of this site is they are all allowed.
As for the fans of this work this is an age old discussion. I am sure when the first person drew a nude on the wall of a cave there were people who thought it was beautiful, people who masturbated to it, and people who thought it was disgusting and distasteful. And so it it continues. I am in the first group the rest of you are are entitled to your opinion.
And Saffella has the right to his opinion as well.
