Description Top Ten Influences for Lonestar

The Honorable Mentions - Please keep this mind, they might not have made the list, but these choices did help influence my concept for Lonestar. With that said, from left to right, in clockwise order:

Steven Universe - Steven is one the best, well-liked kid characters ever created. He's funny, brave, and tries to save the world as a member of the Crystal Gems. How can you not like this kid?

Wallace & Gromit - Four specials, one movie, several one-shot segments, these two embark on adventures that range from fun and mellow to dark and even life-threatening. Whichever one it is, it makes up for a fun experience to watch. Which is something I wish to apply to Lonestar.

Sly Cooper - Even though Lonestar is not a thief, the way the Cooper Gang takes down criminals is something to enjoy. From clever heists to escaping a nightmarish prison, to even traveling through time, Sly Cooper is an example of how one thief can make an extraordinary character.

Spy Fox - Within my last two single digit years, I came across my first point-and-click game. Spy Fox was not only a game that makes you think, but it also delivers some laughs, and how clever you have to be to solve a problem. Plus, the gadgets that uses for the cases, have inspired me to make Lonestar a gadget user.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Not only is this my favorite movie of all time, but the story of Roger Rabbit and Detective Eddie Valiant is a great example of how two opposites must work together to solve a framed murder case. Lonestar and Detective Charles are total opposites (personality wise) and if they want to bring justice back to their city and anywhere they go, they need to work together against all odds.

Now, out of all of what you have seen from the list, what do you think could be number one?

Tune in tomorrow...

Solid renditions of all concerned here, and as a Brit I'm especially chuffed to see Wallace & Gromit here.
