Description This is a warm-up sketch I did last weekend and which I liked pretty much... I wanted to draw Ghost Rider for some time know (precisely since Trent Kaniuga was on the title) ...who knows, maybe one day I'll do GR on his bike riding through the night and all...

I used to love ghostrider when I was a kid. I saw that it was being rereleased and it made me smile. I was gonna do a GR chibi and then I saw yours, and thought well Damn someone beat me to it...

Well, I wouln't qualify mine as a chibi... and I hope to see your's up soon! ...but what made ME smile is that I've seen today that there was a GR art-jam at crisis' forum...I'm hope I'm not too late to join in!

Alright, I will give ya that. In the truest sense no it isn't. but it is far more cartooney than it is comicbook style.

I still love it it is pretty cool

Send me the link will ya?

Thank you! Yeah, my drawings are always a bit more cartoony...even if I TRY to do something darker and grittier, in the end it turns out...nice... What do you want, you cannot change the natur of your drawings...

as for the link to the art jam: [link] , although I'm afraid the GR jam is over; there's going to be a new topic today...

No prob man. You are right, it is very difficult to change the nature of your art. You almost have to have a life altering change, to change your style.

BTW my Ghostrider sketch is up...

unfortunately, I suck at digital colorwork, so it may stay there... As much as I would love to see my stuff nicely colored, I am a slow learner when it comes to puters, and especially when it comes to graphics programs. I was apparently whelped in the wrong generation.

THANK YOU! I remember having seen once a GR-sketch by Skottie Young on the net some time ago and athough I don't REALLY remember the actual pic, I think it somehow inspired me...

Yes, Skottie IS inspiring, isn't he? You do well in that style. Ant tips to help me learn it too?

I think you're doing quite well in your own style!! It's one of the most important things I learned: don't try by any means to "acheive" a certain style; man people force themselves to try to draw in a style they like, but which maybe doesn't suit them. You should let it flow naturally and draw the way that is "natural" for you

not to be mean, but i hope you don't think that that looks ANYTHING like the big, bad ubersome GR.

Hey, I never said mine was big, bad and ubersome... as you know there have been several different GR's, THIS ONE'S the more family-friendly GR...he rides smalltown-streets in the early afternoo and teaches small children how to behave in traffic. (NOTE: the spikes on his shoulders are made out of foam, so as to hurt nobody...)

I'm sorry to announce you: he's not REAL, he's just a fictional character...!

.... i know. i own a copy of every of every one of the comics, and even have the first three autographed by the author.

I have to admit, I'm not a hardcore-fan of the character...I do own some copies of the book actually, but I always found that the concept was a bit too limited and often the stories were like all the same...but then again, as I said, I haven't read them all, so...
