Description Well...first of all, apologies to everybody who thought finding a pic of "King Crimson"-The Band...
This is a tribute to Humberto Ramos' former comic-book series CRIMSON. Although his drawings weren't all perfect on the whole series (and I sometimes somewhat artistically prefer what he did on Spider-Man), Crimson will ALWAYS remain his best work and one of my favourite series!

I tried to work with blacks (...again, after my Two-Face-pic), and I have to admit I admire how Humberto managed to do the blacks on Alex's costume, considering even the muscles underneath and all the stuff...
In fact I was "cheating" somehow, cause I actually drew the lines "traditionnally", then scanned them as usual and added the black areas later with Photoshop. That way I could experiment a bit, undo and not bother about messing up the drawing...

THANKS ALOT!! ...yeah, I love to sometimes lure people into my gallery with those titles that could mean something else... *lol* ...well, I'm glad you like it! ...although as I said in the description, it's not ALL real ink, as I tried out the big blacks in Photoshop, as to not spoil the initial drawing with bad placed blacks...

OOOOOOOHHH...completely forgot that one. Never understood the story (that Joe Kelly dude was a whacked writer!!) BUT the art was gorgeous!! COOL IDEA!!! ...thanks for messing around my time-table!

LOL I met Joe kelly, he's quite normal. LOL. I understood the story, I miss it a lot actually, the characters and art were amazing.

Definitely. Ever read Witching Hour, that was great and his art was beautiful in that, but not quite to the detail of Steampunk. I wish he'd got back to his own stuff, cos the X-Men stuff doesn't botehr me at all.\ However it pays the bills.

This rocks! I'm sure MANY artists "cheat" and add the shadow/black later in PS. Crimson was one of my favorite series as well! You should do the Indian guy next! (forgot his name....Joe?)

Well I think we found yet another reason why we get along so well. This is one of my favorite series as well. I missed it the first time around, but I got all the graphic novels. Awesome art and story. They should really do a revisit, and perhaps explain some of the adventures while they were searching for the holy grail.

yeah! Normally I prefer when a story's told that they keep it closed. But, hey, this is CRIMSON!! I wouldn't mind neither if they put up another arc or two following Alex and Ekimus around the world...although I liked the urban NY-atmosphere!!
