This is a piece I really love and I reall yhad fun doing, so I'm really happy I'm finally allowed to post it!!

Sooo, WHAT is this? Well, every year in Luxemburg, we have different big conventions with all kinds of subjects (holidays, food, etc...) And so there's a big "general" convention in Spring and everyday, the huge milk-company "Luxlait" [link] asks artists to draw a cow, which gets actually printed on kitchen-towels for that occasion...yeah, KITCHEN-TOWELS!! This year they were looking for a more graphiti or comic-like look, and I was lucky to be one of the people that got asked for this!! So the local publicity agency "Salt & Pepper" [link] contacted me and so the subject was quickly explained: draw a COW!!

So, if it's a COW they wanted, it's a SUPERCOW they got!! The logo on his chest is actually the Luxlait-logo; the building in the bg is the "Cercle Municipal", a well-known building at the "Place d'Armes" in the town-centre of Luxemburg-City.

Another thing about this pic is the colours: there are in fact only THREE of them: black, blue and brow (and of course the white of the tissue...) The different tones are achieved by transparencies and superpositions; like this, the whole thing could be printed in a technique that works better on cloth; unfortunately, in the end there were some problems at the printer's, so the fine folks at "Salt & Pepper" had to change the colours a bit and the final result will now look a bit different... But I'm REALLY looking forward to see the end-result!!
