Just some messy practice I did using some prolly decide old Prisma Premier alcohol based markers I was gifted about 2 years ago and never bothered doing anything sophisticated with until now.
Story behind this one is that I was testing out markers on the backside of a plain white notebook I intend to use for art class (hence that blurry spot originally saying "regular ruled"). Reason why is cuz on the front side is a sketch I did from some Sonic Adventure promo art that I wanted to turn out good for my cover so I went and practiced on this smaller doodle on the rear (this one's my own original drawing tho, that's why it's a bit wonky, specially that hand, flat shoe and weird sock 😅).
YouTube's been cascading Sonic movie trailers/clips and anything and everything Sonic related to me for months now and it's really gotten me back into the blue blur. And gotta say, it's gotten me extremely hyped for the movie .

Here's a "brief" and not really complete history of a struggling Sonic fan (not by the rollercoaster of Sonic's not so good history on successful games but as in my lack of being able to enjoy so much of its content for myself for such a long time. Only recent thing I've played being Sonic Mania after trying Generations 3DS years ago.)

So, I've never really showed how big of a Sonic fan I really am on deviant art.. ever. But I really am, and always have been. My dad introduced me to this hedgehog prolly around 6 or 7ish with Sonic 1-3. But I never got to experience any 3D Sonic games growing up myself since my dad has always been such a stubborn mule saying that everything after Sonic 3 and CD was never worthwhile saying how he hated Sonic Heroes and never bothered trying any other game since then. So I mostly got my enjoyment as a fan from the random and few Sonic Archie comics + Adventures of Sonic and Sonic Underground CDs (along with watching random episodes of Sonic X when it aired on 4kids) I could find throughout various local libraries during my time living in California and also watching about 2 playthroughs, one being Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations (never understood why I didn't bother watching all the other games at the time (I think I might've watched Sonic 06 but I guess it was suppressed from my memory)) and playing just a lil bit of Sonic Rush, Rush Adventure and Generations 3DS. Years later I found that I could read the comics off of a now partially defunct section of a website called Sonic Scamp where I could read all the issues in all its glorified and individualy scanned pages till issue.. #260? Idk, it's been years now. And yeah, I'm still reading them offa the internet (restarted back to issue #1 a few weeks ago since I'd stopped reading for about 3 years ago and forgot basically everything) simply cuz knowing my dad, he'd never get me a paid subscription to read em or help me buy all 290 physical issues so, yay. Now that a lot of this is available through youtube, websites and emulation, I'm making my best efforts to catch up with all the games, animated series, comics I'm able to find. And I'm really looking forward to that movie and whatever Sega's up to to make this year a 'great year for Sonic Fans' .

The purples and blues remind me of Sonic Unleashed just a bit. Except Sonic can't go one night before tuning into the werehog so maybe this could be during his fight against Dark Gia? Idk.
