Yes, that's how I was with Inheritance (Eragon #4)... it's almost 1000 pages or something, and I got halfway through it and was like "AAAH when can I find time to read all of this?!" I did finally get through it though, many months later and on audiobook
Maybe someday I'll record myself reading a book? That way we can both have it to fall back on when there's no parents around to do the job
