Fluff time! I finally decided what I would do for a Chapter. Updated with a bit of lore!

These words echo through the chapter halls of the Soul Bearers, etched upon banners, armors, and most importantly, upon the hearts of every member of the chapter. Those who take the oath of the Soul Bearer leave behind any previous allegiance, to instead don the names of fallen brothers and chapters from the Imperium upon their armor, and to fight to give them success, so that their souls may return to the God Emperor of Mankind. The battles of the Soul Bearers are not fought for their own glory, but for the redemption and glory of those who lost their final battles.

The Soul Bearers is a chapter that operates more as a crusade. It is comprised of battle brothers from many chapters, most of which have almost entirely been destroyed, all who have volunteered to redeem their fallen brothers, bearing their names upon their armor and dedicating their victories to their spirits. The oath of the Soul Bearer can be taken for a single pilgrimage, a crusade that will take the Soul Bearers to the worlds which felled their brothers, to achieve success. Upon each victory, the Soul Bearers erect a large monument to the Chapter that had fallen there, and create a sacred pyre to send their souls back to the Emperor. These Crusades can last 100 years, until they return to Holy Terra to deliver the ashes and souls of the fallen to their Emperor. There, they may once again pick up the mantle of their former chapter, to help rebuild it, or they may choose to become one of the Templar , the elite of the chapter, devoted wholey to saving the souls of the fallen
