Looks pretty good, though I'd say that the contrast readability should be a bit more stark. However, if you put in a gradient into the sign and plan to animate it that should give the contrast--which means just ignore me.
You know, graphics training and typography taught me that readability should be important and the letters get a bit lost in the background.
The other nitpick I would have is on the Japanese side of things. The size on the "n" looks a bit wrong compared to the "ra" in the Japanese sign. But that's my calligraphy and Japanese training. The "N" looks a bit lost and small. The readability of the "Shou" in "Bishoujo" is a touch off as well. (The kanji isn't well formed) However, the English speaking world wouldn't have a clue... so free to ignore me here too.

well ill fix that, as a non japanese reader/writer i did the best i could. i see you have a high quality example of the title in your gallery. i could only find small references. im not at my house so i cant fix it now, but i will tomorrow.
