still in progress, but i think im done for today. will add more details to the clouds. then its just the title that will need to be added.will update it with in the week.

UPDATE: i fixed some things that bothered me. (some shading, ella's shield, snow's face etc...), and added some texture to the clouds. the color has changed a bit too. im still designing the logo, so till thats done this is "complete".

Overall this is pretty cool; Ella's hand is a bit too big, though. Also, while I like the armor, it's awfully similar to Clamp's Magic Knight Rayearth armor; that could be a problem.

i know, but honestly, something like this will get compared to other things. (sailor moon, rayearth, wedding peach, cardcaptor sakura, etc ....) i have a bird theme going through the armor which plays into the story. i was contemplating leaving out the gems in case it was too sailor moon like, but it just seems to flow better that way. the story will hopefully help to set this work apart. i did want to give a little nod to the things that have inspired me though. any way, keep watching for more updates :]

That's true; and there's nothing wrong with homages! The bird theme will probably be clearer in the actually series, which will help. And gems are so common on magical girl series, no one has any real right to complain. I look forward to future updates!
