This one was so, so very rushed... I'm really sorry I couldn't do anything bigger.. ;_;
Time is just not on my side these days.

(p.s It came out really similar to one of my previous works, The Blind, when I think about it..., but I actually had a very different meaning intended for this one )

The stark shape of the sword, in its almost flat blackness, works perfectly here. I love the shadow it casts across the figure's arm, too... It works well with the mood of the song. A sort of suspended, singing emptiness, or something (augh, I can't words today...)

Thank you so much glad to see that you give some of your precious time to listen to the songs that I link in the descriptions. I don't know how many people actually check the links I give, but very few refer to them in the comments. It's nice seeing someone give the songs the credit that they deserve, because they take such a huge role in the making of these drawings. I totally get what you're saying about the suspended feeling of emptiness and all, it's exactly what I feel about it, and I tried really hard to make it visible through the piece and it's something that I rarely ever get right in my opinion. Didn't expect this piece to catch your eye, because it was really rushed and poorly made all in all, but I'm glad that you liked it
