You basically can describre a Fiend as: "it's Bambi, but on hard-core steroids!"

Amazing and breathtaking picture, absolutely outstanding job!

Haha,LOL. Good point. I really like what author did with that beast. And he made even different kinds of that monsters. Brilliant.

It definatelly is! Too bad I don have an X-box One and I'm afraid my PC might not be Strong enough for the game. Well, maybe, if I set the graphics on low.

Well, even the weak machines with 3.0 Ghz Dual cores,4Gb RAM and 1GB DirectX 11 videocard will do a trick ,at least at minimal settings. I have to say even then the picture looks great.

Well, I've recived a "gamer-PC" for Christmas (but don't act too jealous or anything, it wasn't at a price of a small flat [which I kinda see as overly ridiculous]).
I'm just a bit worried, because I already have AC:Syndicate on it and it only runs at low settings.
Not that I'm a "Graphic Whore", I do know, that graphics are just a small part of the whole gaming experience, I just don't want my PC to crash. But I think if I do buy the game and disable Gerald's hair motion, then I'll be just fine.

(Which let's face isn't a big secrifice at all. Because the point isn't how "fabulous" Gerlad's hair, the point is wheather or not I'm capable of killing that damned Griffin/Fiend/whatever monster. )

Same here. I really happy when i can play the games even with low settings but without the freezes because low optimization. Andyes -disable hairworks of course. It cause FPS drops even on top machines. Also with AMD videocards hairworks lokks terrible. Much worce than Nvidia and in disabled state.

Then we could ask the question here: why did they made this animation in the first place?

I mean, I get it, it looks good and "more realistic", but overall it dosen't add anything big into the game. Personally I couldn't care less about if it didn't have this option.

I think, CDProject Red, might did this, because Square Enix did the same with Lara's hair in the 2013 Tomb Raider game.
Sigh, too bad, that gamer PCs, even the strongest ones aren't capable to handle these small bits and pieces of extra animation, yet. Maybe in the next 5 or 10 years.
Until then, the only place we can enjoy hairworks at the cinema watching an animated movie.

They made that to show almost all graphic featurest that Nvidia could provide in their game. Additional bonus from them. The hairs on beasts and monsters make them more beautifull, but as you said it adds nothing to the game-just aestetic, you enjoy the details. About hairworks and other-strong PC is capable, at least GTX 980-Titans. Its the hairwork technology stillnot perfect-steals much of FPS during the game. The TRESSFX from Tomb Raider was much more simple compared to that of Nvidia. About the movie-Yes, i also will be glad to see it in movies like World of Warcraft and Witcher, if Baginski will make it CGI or combined like Warcraft/Avatar.

No, some quests ( main & contracts) give about 200-300 Xp, but some other quest that take a lot more work only give me 20 crowns and 5 xp

The Fiend itself gives 5xp and its quest gives 280xp, but other missions give xp
