That's not the first comment I've received saying that. I was going for lonely and longing and searching, yet beautiful nonetheless. That is sort of how I was seeing my friend, Amy, at the time. She just had her 40th birthday and I wanted to do something nice for her. So sad was not on my agenda. Why do you say sad?

Mmm... yes I see lonely. But perhaps it's the faded colour of the rose, or the folorn angle, or the overall darkness.... I'm not sure. It is lovely though!
