Description Following in the same vein as the Bovine Skull I created ages ago, here's the Nile Crocodile.

This piece was created in watercolor, acrylic, and pencil. The Nile Crocodile’s skull is patterned in Ancient Egyptian patterns and colors.
Green: vegetation and life.
Red: life, victory, anger, fire, rage, sun, protection.
White: omnipotence, purity, sacred things, and used for holy ceremonies.
Black: death, might, the underworld, and resurrection.
Yellow: sun, gold, imperishable, eternal, and indestructible.
Egyptian blue: sky, water, heavens, primeval floods, life, birth, the Nile, crops, and fertility.

Someone else who respects history and enjoys making art from it. I love the colour reference and the realism in the picture suffused with warm gentle colours and lots of texture. Its very pretty even though its a skull.

Super use of mixed media products, .pve the circles surrounded by colour.

ArtasModusOperandi The Chosen Rejects - I saw this in the group and love it . Respect and Friendship .Mandy

The lines of the skull remind me of Georgia O'keefe.  Overall I love the playfulness of this piece.

I think that's the best reaction I could get!
This piece had been sitting for such a long time, unfinished. It's a relief that it's finally done!
Thank you very much!

Thank you so much! I used some old art board I had lying around for this, and immediately regretted my decision because the watercolour wanted to lift right off - but I really enjoyed how it turned out in the end. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks, Debbie! I always wish I had more time to make art like this. Seriously, it was sitting unfinished in my house for months. It was a bit sad.

Thank you, Daniel! I'm always complaining about not having enough time to paint traditionally anymore - I'm so happy I finally completed this. Your comment just made my day. Hopefully, in the future, I can get more of this series done.
