She wanted her character Sorrel! What a darling! X3
His personality really reminds me of theHyrule Field music from Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Full of energy and just the world opening up to you. It's a new day, so take it!
I was listening to it on my 3DS, so the version of the song I listened was more subdued and calm (since Link was just standing), so that came across in the picture I think? ANYHOO. I used a tutorial for the grass, which can be found here!

I love his eyes in this picture, you know. They look really bright! And that little flush on his cheeks is so adorable!
