another speedpainting! although it wasn't very speedy. i went back and touched up on a lot of details.. this was originally gonna be a guy!! he just got skinnier and more metrosexual by the minute, and i just said 'what the hell,' and added that second x chromosome.and, i took time to try and make it look a little more refined.
ScrotumLesson for the day: Oil painting and Watercolor settings on Painter IX!!! i used a SLEW of brushes i never used before in painter, and i liked what i came up with! i finally found the emulatey-brush-strokey brush!!! im so very happy. plus, watercolors!! fo realz!! this was a two and a half hour thingie, and was so totally fun.
never mind the subject matter. haha! i don't know what the hell she's doing, or why. it just kinda looked cool as i went along. feel free to make your own assumptions.

The colors on this are great, especially the ones in the face and hair with the ones in the eyes. And if you hadn't mentioned that this was done on your computer I would have never known. It looks wonderful.

hey, thanks... it's really great to hear! it sure is a hell of a lot more fun than how i used to do things. i really hate my line-art skills, so getting through a pic used to be hell because i had to sketch it out first. now, i can just lay globs of color and cross my fingers until something nice happens!
