This comic has so drastically contrasting dark and comedic moments that it can be a bit jarring to me. I also hate characters keeping secrets from each other

Yee~ das a problem. Iβm Trying to fix it and find a balance. Swinging from comedy to dark so quickly is not good (like, the last 3 comics donβt mesh at all, #269 is purely there for no reason but April fools) but having just dark chapters gets people sad and having just comedic chapters gets people antsy, wanting to advance the plot.
