I found this on my hard drive. Forgot I had it. Beelzemon and Sakuyamon from Digimon Tamers as a couple. Oh yeah, and Rika too. I drew her a little older here.I can't believe I used such crappy gradients and no layers back then. I'm frickin' glad I finally discovered how to use layers.

Do you mean, why isn't Juri shipped with Beelzemon/Impmon or...another fanon pairing I'm not aware of?
Or if you're wondering why Rika/Renamon and Impmon are in the picture, it's just because they're part of Sakuyamon and Beelzemon respectively.
(Actually from what I've seen over the years, none of these pairings are all that popular, but that's just my observation, lol.)

No idea about the fanon, I'd've just thought it the most likely thing for the crazy internet people to do. Especially since, in part, Beelzebmonis, in part, Juri's beloved Leomon-sama.

That's actually why I like him. That is, I HATE his name and what it stands for, but I think it's interesting that this character is not wicked despite having that name. He could live up to the name, but he doesn't and wouldn't want to. That appeals to me. I want nothing to do with real demons, of course. Don't get me wrong. But it's just a name in this case. To the Japanese, it's no different than naming a character Hades. Heck, the new Beelzebumon in "Digimon Xros Wars" is a holy warrior fighting to atone for his sins. How's that for a paradox?

I love all of these guys, but I can't help thinking that there's a degree of 'errrr...' factor due to the fact that Beelzebumon x Sakuyamon is basically a threesome.
But I figure hey, whatever floats yer boat. ImpRena is widely accepted and there's alot of people on the Ruki/Renamon bandwagon, I'd say that Ruki/Impmon is the only highly unlikely aspect of the trio.
In any case, twas definitely a good call making Ruki older

Yeah, my ideas have always been pretty 'open' as it were. But I'm not rabid about couples to the extent of fighting about it, haha. (I always figured it'd be a three way, lol)
If I do shipping stuff or whatever I always try to make the kids older by default.
