When I found out I was going to be working with Dan on a new project that's underway, I wanted to "try out" his lines...this one was challenging, and took me a while to hammer out, but i think I got it to where I want it...

You do have an excellent coloring style. I envy how you color for sure as it's very comicbook-esque; a style I am no where near in mastering as I suck at the cell like shading using the gradient tool. Seriously... I've looked at tuts too and I'm like 'der...'
Fathom rocks too- very cool piece to choose to color. Excellent job as usual. =B

i'm still trying to work up to the "comicbookesque" style, but it's been a long road of trial and error. I think most of it is just finding the right lines which often aren't my own....
I am very grateful for your appreciation though, as the force is otherwise strong with you and you constantly/consistantly turn our a high quality of work. If you ever want a colorist, lemme know, I'd be more than happy to color your work, and (hopefully) explain how I did it, for pointers.

Well you're on a good path to it! Further along that I in the type of coloring. Ish cool. And Ooo, I'd love to have you color something of mine or some of my works.

You know, I look at this and I totally think to myself... "Damn, I wish things had that kind of a glow in real life...(sigh)"... Yeah, I totally dig this, and I really want to thank you for trying out my lines as you say ^^ I know you're working hard to get the pages done for our book, so I feel a little obligated to tell you... Pages 12-15 are scary with detail!!!
