Wow..this is truly beautiful..so filled with emotion and sorrow, especially with her bent pose and motions. The borders and poem is also incredible..breathtakingly haunting. Awesome work.

[Notes: I have been doing some character development in my (oodles of) spare time....I had this image of Telli--who's always been a kind of seductive/Cleopatra-esque/femme-fatale archetype--becoming something edgier, more war-like. In a sense (to me) that meant consciously retaining (and in some cases, enhancing) aspects of her sexuality, while adopting a diffrent, physically agressive nature, very Amazonian....This really all goes into the yet-unrevealed backstory of the character, and her experiences and choices.]

Very nice poem. The layout of the drawing and the poem is like that of medieval(sp) drawings.
