Description I love these two characters and their stories so much! Although compare with 3D cartoons nowadays, I know they are very plain.

It was a weird sculpture! the scene were designed with perspective and vanishing point. Combined from low relief, high relief to 3 dimension. You can only see it reasonably in front view angle. Every parts of the sculpture need according to what you see in the front view which makes this sculpture looks like a triangle from top view. Hope you follow me so far... See for yourself and imagine how to do that.

Final product: pewter, gold plating, marble base.

Alex Liao

Sure! I'll check your next posts, then it would be great to see if I reach to recognize your sculpture concepts with the final statues!

BTW... If I'm not wrong, I remind there were a few dedicated to basketball... you know, at the time there was the trend of Space Jam with all the charachters playing next to Michael Jordan...did you do one of those?

Oh, and one sculpture that I like very much is the one where there're Wile E. and RR dressed as Indian and Cowboy, respectively, chasing as usual  Again, you welcome and still "bravo" ^_^ !

You are right about one sculpture, the one Wile E. and RR dressed as Indian and Cowboy. Perhaps that's the same one you are saying.  Is it pewter, gold plated on marble base?  But that somehow was a story behind it. I'm not the one signed and promoted the sculpture. I got paid to sculpt and keep my mouth zipped. Many of my works had the same situation. I didn't get the credits at all. But that's life, I need to make living. So usually I don't mention it much.

I appreciated your attention of my works, that means a lot to me!! ^^

Hey, just give ma little time and I should be able to get some pictures of that cowboy statue! I've a folder where I saved all the art I liked so far and I'm sure it is still there

I understand what you mean: Warner rarely promoted the artists behind the products that they sold in their shops!

Infact, if there was a good with a particular desing, I was always curious to know who was the hand behind it, to check other of his/her works and see some new styles... unfortunately, except for the eBay pages, it was always hard to find out who did it... it's truly a shame!

Take your time and thanks for your heedful heart! I did find some products surprisingly mentioned my name. I guess there ain't many people like you that cares much of who is the artist behind it. In this competitive generation, many thing rely on promotion. But that's the weak part of artists themselves...

There you are, Alex ! I managed to found the famous sculpture!

Now, I don't know which material it can actually be, I'ven't been in this kind of technique yet , nor I know the specific english name... anyway I noticed there's a seal of Ron Lee, I guess it was part of a collection

Eh, you said well about promotion :/ Luckly art is not just for the purpose of success and getting rich, there's also the simple joy of the creative process, otherwise every work would totally miss the heart! For now, ciaoo !

Oh my goodness... you found it! I made that whole collection. I was gonna pose some works from that collection too. It's pewter, gold plating.

Thanks a lot my dear Silvia! ^^ I keep on doing sculpture only because I love it from the bottom of my heart. I don't wanna be the slave of detail or likeness only. Hope make something that touches people's heart or soul. I have been in milano before and I'll go to Italy some other days again soon! I have to!!

Ha, I love the way you sculpted the smoke coming from the steam engine!

And the Road Runner and Coyote are two of my favorite cartoon characters, so this is especially great in my opinion!

Thanks! I guess the air, water, wind and some special effect are usually hard to perform in sculpting. I tried a few times and I finally made the heavy smoke like real steam train instead.
