One thing that has played a big part in the DCU is the multiverse. One of the alternate earths is the earth were heroes are villains, and the villains are heroes. And then we got Owlman which the evil counterpart of Batman from another earth. And...with this, we have ended up getting heroic counterparts of the joker. We got the Red Hood which was the joker's heroic counterpart from the episode "Deep cover for Batman" from batman: The Brave and the bold. And in my opinion, the Actually GOOD good Joker.Jokester...appeared in Countdown. he got a backstory. The real father of Dulea Dent...and he died. Waste of character.
The Jester. had a brief appearance in the beginning of the movie Justice League Crisis on two earths, before he died. and I mean, VERY brief. We never got to explore him or anything. The movie is very good, but I wish we got to see more heroic versions of the DC villains.
And the last one...The Joker....yeah. not very original. He appeared during the new 52 even forever evil. From what I remember he killed an alternate version of Dick grayson...before he too was killed off.
Yeah..overall, Red Hood is the ONLY Heroic Joker that DOESN'T DIE!!! Maybe the Multiverse just hates Heroic Jokers...heh, maybe thats why the Red Hood wears a red hood and doesn't have any clown motive even after he fell into the vat of chemicals and got his face bleached.
Red Hood: I can't let anyone know Im a heroic joker, or Im dead...

But there's one thing I didn't understand, why would joker/red hood hide his face, what, he dosent like clowns or sonething.?

Because he was the super hero red hood before he fell into the chemicals. Just because his skin got bleached didn't change that.

oh, still, it's strange to see a joker with the red hood name, so what, does an evil Jason todd has to kill him for the title of red hood, or takes something like black hood or something.
Also, I think because the red hood persona reminds him of his mission.

There are exceptions to the heroic Joker always ended up dead thing.
Madame Xanadu of Earth-9's current whereabouts and actual fate remains unknown to this day, so it's possible she might be alive somewhere and Rokej of the Earth-Two universe could still be alive somewhere in the Multi-Multiverse too (if you want to include him into this).

While that is true, Im not sure I would qualify them as Jokers. Madame Xanadu is WAY too different from any of the joker counterparts, as for Rokej, he is a supposed DESCENDANT of the original earth 2 joker. Its like for instance, saying that Damian is a counterpart of Bruce Wayne if you know what I mean.

Didn't know about the last Joker. But yeah, Jester was underrated in Crisis on Two Earths. Interesting Harley was a pet monkey though XD
