Tails: You know Modern. You could do this for real.

Tails: Mario does it.
Modern: I am better then Mario...
Tails: Its one thing to play a hero. And its another thing to BE a hero. Do it for Classic.
Modern:...I don't know...this whole thing sounds like it could get-
Tails: Fast? You already got one fan.
Modern: (Writes his autograph)
Tails: Modern Sonic huh? Never heard of you.
(Meanwhile. Classic Sonic was shown to have survived. But his body had become all robot-like)
Classic: It was all a setup...that faker put my Little bro in danger to steal the glory and humiliate me! They want grim and Gritty huh? Happy to play the part..
(He is revealed to have become..METAL SONIC!)
Metal Sonic: Cause Im the REAL SONIC! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!

I've imagined a similar scene..only between either the Sonic Boom, or the Live-Action Movie Sonic,
and how a more traditional Sonic just can't let go that sometimes a new version of himself isn't a bad thing.
..only to eventually become Scourge the Hedgehog at the end.

You know, if this episode had come out earlier, like before I gave upon my sonic fic again...I would have been able to put something inspired by that scene in it too.
Sonic grew up with stories and the tv show of 'Speedy the Porcupine' (it is a comic inside a comic, something we've seen the Sonic character read in the early days). That hero was Sonic's favorite show as a kid. But Speedy, the actor had a form of psychosis and had to take meds. But during a difficult period the actor forgot to take them and started to slip further into psychopathy, to the point he refuses to take his meds again, and become dangerous.
I don't know whether to have the actor portraying Speedy have natural superspeed like Sonic or using a Speed suit, but anyhow, Speedy would completely replace Scourge as an evil Sonic counterpart of sorts.

I thought about that too but nothing concrete...I am momentarily thinking of Fasttracks, Slipstream and Friction.

I decided to settle on Friction. Because it doesn't sound stereotypical but still somehow associated with speed.
Speedy: All I wanted is to relive my glory days, be the center of attention. It was all I had left, but then that blue snot-nosed brat interfered. He took away my moment. Well, he wants to play the hero? I'll give him a villain to fight. After all, when two speedsters clash, it will cause...friction.
