Description
So, today is David Bowie's birthday, so I decided to upload this fanart hoping that it is "good enough" for such a legend.He has left a huge impact on so many lives, including mine. His music helped me go through a dark period of my life, showing me that I didn't have to "hide" and be like everyone else to be accepted.
So, I decided to upload this picture inspired by that beautiful, whimsical song.

This is a beautiful tribute and title. You have added just enough elements to give it that Bowie touch. I can hear him shouting, “ground control to …” out of his window.
I like that you made him a silhouette an image of the night. The pose is also realistic and a good angle. (the hand could use a little more detail and i think that the fingers would normaly be over the ledge) You can feel the connection between Bowie and the ufo. (or hat?)
The white line around him gives is a moonlight glow. But that glow can not be at the back of him as well. You can also see the grey drawing lines in there. This could maybe be removed with a kneaded eraser. You could also soften the edges with that, making it smoother.
The color of the wall is good with a little texture. I don’t know if I would have picked blue to draw the brick structure.
Your technique of coloring and shading is something that can be improved. A tip is to always shade in the same direction. Like the buildings could be a little darker and here you could have used all vertical lines. The sky could be all horizontal or from one point, the ufo working down. When shading it is always good to take your time and to hold your pencil flat. Not to straight up because that will give you hard lines like left next to the ufo.
I hope my tips will come in handy and keep those beautiful works comming.

This is wonderful artwork, something that makes you wonder about what the artist might be thinking while drawing. I would have enhanced a few things though for instance, the sky is the same shade everywhere. Usually you'd notice a lighter shade near the buildings/horizon and as we go higher up, the sky becomes more darker and stars are visible. Such a gradient background would've looked amazing. The red haired guy is probably standing under the moonlight so his head from the top must be a bit more illuminated as compared to the shadowed areas like his back. The focal point of your art piece is the fly away hat so maybe adding a tiny sparkle at the rim would have added life to it, also I'd suggest making the railing lines on the buildings a bit closer to each other. The buildings are far off in the horizon and they'd probably look more natural that way.
Overall, I love the concept and I absolutely adore the windows ^^ I hope I helped
