beautiful and amazing place; your picture caught its uniqueness! Β  I see someone on the fart right climbing upwards. Did you come up that way too? because I don't see tracks straight down. I do see lots of tire tracks on the opposite up slopes - jeeps?Β

trust me, climbing straight up that dune is SUPER tiring, you do a slant trail up the side. can't really take jeeps up on the 2 dunes either

and the whiter lines on the opposite slope, what are they? They seem too straight to be natural... or what?

Don't mind my questions Β I'm very very curious and this picture is so unique. Does this little oasis never get smothered with sand? I keep thinking the sand will just slither down and cover everything!Β

Thanks for your nice comments and questions! Β As chaos-in-compounded said, its tooooo(oooo) hard to walk strait up the hill.. I'm working on a pano I shot halfway up the hill so maybe I'll post it some day soon if its turns out good..

Not quite sure what the tracks on the opposite side is, but I think it's some kind of sand buggy. We drove one of [these] . Quite fun!Β
