Wow - this is really cook, and I don't usually like abstract all that much. I feel like I'm really high up looking down at the Earth from a plane...lots of depth and movement. Awesome.

Lovely! I took it at the thumbnail to be mossy stones in a stream--it almost seemed photoreal. The contrast of the true abstract nature of it and the way it broke down into strokes and color was really quite a visual experience.

This is a really eye catching piece. I wonder if you had the thought of an aerial photograph in mind when you painted this? I have a painting of a coast line from above, but I didn't have as much luck as you. This looks like it was taken from space. Wonderful.

As stated before; this really looks like an aerial photograph at first glances. If that is what you were trying to achieve, you have really made it work with very realistic colors and textures. Besides that, it's so vivid and restful at the same time!

I really love this. The colors and texture is really fantastic. It really keeps my eyes moving all around, it's really well done.

Fascinating textures and colours. It's not difficult at all to imagine this as a satellite image of a peninsula. The title leads me towards thinking about the concept of the carbon footprint, but I think it could as well be interpreted from a mystical or esoteric standpoint.
I also noticed you'd had a look at some of my paintings. Those constitute my first attempt at watercolours in about nine years or so and, as such, it's really quite inspiring to see a work like this now.

That texture magic does wonders in your paintings. Is it just the magic, or is it an actual product?

From the smaller version it looks like an aerial photo. But when I look at the larger version I can see the texture and the fact that it's a painting. It's quite awesome.
