12 hours or so I believe. 8 hours painting Cynder, 4 hours making the background. Never worked that long on a background. Started about 5 Sunday evening, slept for 7 hours and woke up early (for me) so that I could diligently finish this. When I get hooked on a drawing, I get pretty darn zombified and do not wish to eat or sleep. My mother came in at one point leaving her usual negative comments, pointing out the rocks weren't realistic enough and doesn't believe I can make them that way on computer. She didn't ruin the drawing for me this time... one day I hope to tell her how much I hate her opinion and she should keep her mouth shut if she cannot be supportive and show me how to do things right. "Don't just tell me what's wrong, tell me HOW to fix it."

So it's Cynder specifically inspired by "Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon", though I have no idea who the Hell this character is. xD Because I didn't play the previous games to this she's a random character for me that I believe is much better to use when fighting. (Plus her powers are cooler). I'm not a huge fan of this game because of many reasons, but I play it because I'm a Spyro-kid (as opposed to Zelda-kid, Sonic-kid), HE CAN FLY!!!! And the graphics are pretty. (Coming right from playing the old PS1 games. Reason why I bought the 360.) This game is unnecessarily hard and the elite enemies are completely stupid, offering you nothing but a headache and a death wish. I can still kill Malefor without my power filled to the max.

I tried to make it more of a painting as opposed to using tons of the burn and dodge tool. Lots of blending though... whee! This Photoshop makes blending such a clean process, I'm fascinated by CS5.
